Cai Zaisheng

 Professor, PhD advisor and Head of Department of Textile Chemistry and Dyeing & Finishing. PhD,China Textile University (1994).  A commissioner of the Shanghai Textile Engineering Academy, deputy director of Dyeing and Finishing Committee of Shanghai, a member of the Society of Dyers and Colorists.Research areas include Chemical Finishing of Textiles, Surface Modification of Fiber .

 Dr. Zaisheng Cai honourly won a series of praises such as National Science & Technology Invent Award, Education Ministry Invent Award, Shanghai Municipality Science and Technology Invent Award and China Textile Industry Association Science and Technology Advanced Praise etc. And he ever obtained a honour title of Shanghai Municipality Excellent Youth Teacher. Dr. Zaisheng Cai managed and finished more than 10 projects supported by national, provincial and ministerial government, and over 20 projects cooperated with enterprises. He published more than 180 research papers and holds 19 China invent patents. He has published extensively in the textile chemistry literature. As the chief editor, he compiled 2 national program text books, 1 ministry and commission program text book, and 2 teaching reference books. Dr. Zaisheng Cai was appointed as subeditor in Dyeing & Finsishing Section and took part in compiling《Textile Glossary》, and he joined in compiling 《CIHAI》 (6th).
