胥波，东华大学化学与生物工程学院教授，博士生导师。2008年毕业于美国路易斯维尔大学，回国前（2008-2014）为美国路易斯维尔大学化学系研究助理教授。主要研究方向为有机合成方法学及反应机理研究、药物化学、有机合成自动化仪器研发等。胥波博士发表了超过77篇英文SCI论文（其中JACS 4篇；Angew. Chem. 6 篇；Org. Lett. 16 篇等）， 其中大部分文章是第一作者或通讯作者。胥波博士是新型抗癌化合物XB05 的主要发明人（已获得美国及PCT专利授权）。胥波博士还率先提出了Rigid SolventTM技术，这项技术可以大大提高有机合成中的分离和纯化的速度。胥波博士还是两个创业企业（Rigid Solutions LLC和Kynetic Pharma LLC）的创始人。胥波博士的多个反应试剂被Sigma-Aldrich商业化（Aldrich目录号 L511854 ，L511846， 802794）。
