Prof. Dr. Zhao, Yaping received a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from Shanghai University and a PhD in Textile Chemistry and Dyeing & Finishing Engineering from Donghua University. She joined College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Donghua University in 2005. From 2016 to 2017, she worked at the Materials Engineering Department of the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada as a visiting scholar for academic exchange. Currently, she engages in the construction principles and methods, performance and application of functional textiles, biomass resource conversion and application, electrochemical processes & technologies for materials. She teaches undergraduate courses including “Physical Chemistry” and “Physical Chemistry Experiments”, in charge of First-class Undergraduate Courses in Shanghai Higher Education Institutions. She has won the honors of Advanced Individuals for her excellent performance in Student Work and Undergraduate Teaching Evaluation & Excellence Creation Work, and been awarded “Young Role Model in the Construction of Teachers’ Ethics” at Donghua University.
